WEVO ranks No. 260 among software companies on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing private companies, with a three-year revenue growth of 272%.
BOSTON — August 15, 2023 — WEVO, the next-gen user experience (UX) research platform, announced today that WEVO ranks No. 260 among software companies on the 2023 Inc. 5000, its annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. This year is the second consecutive year that WEVO is recognized on the Inc. 5000 list. The prestigious ranking provides a data-driven look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment — its independent, entrepreneurial businesses. Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other household-name brands gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
“WEVO is delighted to be recognized on the 2023 Inc. 5000 as one of America’s fastest-growing companies for the second consecutive year and to celebrate this milestone based on three years of consistent revenue growth. I am especially grateful to our customers for selecting and partnering with WEVO, to the WEVO team for the hard work, inspiration, and dedication to customers that is driving our success, and to investors for selecting and believing in WEVO. I look forward to continuing our growth, delighting customers and investors, and reshaping user experience research in step with the exciting developments in AI that are forever changing user experience design,” said WEVO CEO and co-founder Nitzan Shaer.
“Running a business has only gotten harder since the end of the pandemic,” said Inc. Editor-in-Chief Scott Omelianuk. “To make the Inc. 5000 — with the fast growth that it requires — is truly an accomplishment. Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that are building our future.”
WEVO leverages generative AI to dramatically reduce the effort required to conduct user studies while also increasing the reliability of the results. With WEVO 3.0, released in July this year, user researchers, designers, and product managers can now complete a user study or usability study — assessing the strengths and weaknesses of content or a digital experience — with 30 minutes of effort versus the 30 hours typically required with traditional tools. Furthermore, the results are significantly more reliable as the sample size of the studies can include 120 participants versus 12 with traditional tools. WEVO 3.0 is also the first user research platform to combine behavioral research, such as capturing where users click and measuring time to complete, and attitudinal research, sentiment analysis of the users’ reactions to the experience. WEVO’s usability solution replaces traditional video-based user studies by identifying where and why users are struggling or enjoying the experience.

Methodology
Companies on the 2023 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2019 to 2022. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2019. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2022. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2019 is $100,000; the minimum for 2022 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places.
